not even close to having kids yet, but just thinking about it because my friend has been thinking about baby names.

what do you guys think about these names for a girl:

keira isabella or keira elizabeth
arwen alexandra

or maybe a variation of the name keira, such as kyrra, i dunno.
i was also thinking about the name mikaila/makaila, not sure what the middle name would be.

anyone have any similar suggestions?

and i can't think of ANY names for boys. anyone got any ideas based on the girl names?
thanks!

Keira is one of fiance's favorite names and Isabella is one of mine, so maybe you'd like some of our boy names? Our favorites are: Marshall (nn. Mars), Coleman (nn. Cole), Kieran, and Rhys. Others that I like are: Jude, Ivan, Cullen, Pierce, Avery, and Chase.

Keira is one of my favorites. I like the Irish/Gaelic spelling, Ciara, but people might mispronounce it.

Boys: Kieran or Ciaran, Owen, Quinn, Joel, Tristan

i like elizabeth, but prefer elisabeth.

i love isabel too, its one of my top names, but i despise isabella.

i dislike all the others.

sounds like you might like the aidan/brayden/jayden/caden names, if you like names/spellings like mikaila and kyrra.

Keira is a very pretty name, not a style I'd use myself, but pretty. Of what you've offered, I like Keira Elizabeth.

Please PLEASE reconsider kreaytive spellings. It will only torture the child for their entire life to have to 'correct' people spelling their name (my best friend is a Meaghan and it drives her CRAZY), not to mention it makes it look like you just don't know how to spell.

If you're considering Mikaila/Makaila, I would just say that I think it's much prettier to use the actual spelling of Michaela. It looks more like a name that a girl can carry into adulthood, instead of to like, seven.

You seem to like trendier names, so the first boy name that came to mind was Logan.

If someone told me she'd named a kid Keira Elizabeth, I'd think she was a big Pirates of the Caribbean fan, since Keira Knightley played Elizabeth Swann. Especially if Arwen (Lord of the Rings) was one of the other choices!

Keira Elizabeth made me think of Pride and Prejudice, since she played Elizabeth Bennett.

That said, I love the names Keira Elizabeth and Arwen. I know a 4 year-old named Arwen.
