As a general rule, I dislike nouns as names. Just Rock is awful. He doesn't even have a middle name to fall back on.

It kind of reminds me of something I heard somewhere, not sure if it's true or not, but that in China people are using names like Chair and Radiator to protest the government's restrictions on naming. I found out recently I have a distant cousin named Brick, and I think it's just as bad.
