[identity profile] taleofaredhead.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Thaddeus
Anastasia
Brianna/Brianne (which do you prefer?)

Just a few that have been drifting around in my head :]

ALSO! Not your average post, BUT, I'm going to be training a pig for an ag. program at school and I need an AWESOME name for it. Unfortunately, don't know male or female, but lets assume female, since they've been in the past.

Go crazy :]

When we disected pigs in biology the names we used in my class were:
Hampton, Wilbur, Porky, Einstein, and Heathcliff

I can't remember what the other group named theirs. But there were six groups. I know it was something feminine like Blossom or Buttercup or Daisy. Something that had to do with flowers. Maybe it was just Flower. I can't remember.

I remember doing that in my biology class, too! Piglet, Petunia, and Butch are the only ones I can remember...

Are you pronouncing it Bree-Anna or Bree-Aw-Nuh?

I like Thaddeus but not Anastasia.

For the pig:
Betrand, Willard, or Methusaluh if it's a boy.
Gertrude, Persephone, or Delilah if it's a girl.

Piggy McBankington. Because I'm a big of The Weekenders.

I don't like Thaddeus too much. I prefer Brianna over Brianne, but they both sound kind of trendy to me. I like Anastasia, but that's only because I like the story of the princess. It's a very princessy, girly name.

I really like Thaddeus and Anastasia, but Brianna/Brianne is too trendy/modern for me -- I'm much more into older names. I had a friend in high school named Brianne; I've never liked it all that much.

For the pig, I will suggest Petunia or Herbert. :)

For the other names, I love Anastasia, but I'm not a huge fan of Thaddeus. I like both Brianne and Brianna equally--both are pretty! That said, I've known more Brianna's than Brianne's.
