what do you think of the name Daphne Odora?

my other favorites right now are Sophie, (but not Sophia) and Letticia nn lettie. both are family names several generations back.

I'm not a fan. I do like Daphne, though.
Daphyne looks like someone made a typo when they wanted to spell Daphne. I don't know how I'm supposed to pronounce it either.
I don't like Odora either...I just think 'odor'.

Sophie is cute, by the way.

Not to be rude in any way, but I'm just curious? Why the Y? Is it pronounced differently to Daphne? Scrap that, lol.

I love Daphne (it's recently crept up into my second favourite name spot). Not so sure about Odora; it does has a very Greek mythology feel to it which I like.

I like Sophie - I, too, am not a fan of Sophia. Letticia (spelt either Letitia or Leticia) is quite nice as well.

I like Daphne, I'd never use it myself but it is a cute, normal but almost flirt-y name.

Odora... um I don't like it much at all really. It just makes me think of smelly because of the whole 'odor' thing. Have you considered maybe Adora? In spanish it literally means 'he/she adores' and I thought that was along the same lines and looks and sounds prettier =)

I like Sophie too! Sophia is nice but I really like the name Sophie. When I was 15 or so I and a dream I had a daughter named Sophie and till this day I consider using it if I have a little girl one day.

Leticia is my favorite spelling of the name because it's the spanish version and that's how my family would understand the name. It is lovely either way and Lettie is just so cute.

I <3 your names (except Odora!)

you might be interested in knowing that "odora" means "he/she/it smells" in italian. As in "can smell something", not actually as in "stinks", but, yeah, still. I love Daphne, though!

Letticia is also unfortunately mispelled, while Sophie and Leticia are both lovely.

Are you going for Odora to be like the plant? On its own it might have "smell" connotations...

I like the spelling Laeticia best.

Yes, that makes sense - if she's always going to be called "Daphne Odora" all as one word, sort of thing, I don't see it as a problem. I like the idea :)

I think Odora sounds pretty, but it definitely has "odor" in it. I think it works really well in a middle name slot, but I wouldn't use it as a first name.

Daphne and Sophie are both really pretty. I think Letticia is nice, and I really like the nickname Lettie.

I think Daphne Odora sounds great together, but I agree with the others on the "odor" idea not being so pleasant. I love the name Daphne though.

I, too, prefer Sophie to Sophia, but I would probably use Sophia for the given name anyway because most names ending in "ee" make me think nickname. Everything would be dependent upon flow, of course. Anyway, Sophie is one of the "ee" names that pretty well says name on it's own so I don't mind when others use it as a first name. I really can't stand Letticia, but Lettie is cute. The family name thing definitely gives it points though.

I like Odora more than Daphne, a lot more. I always think of Scooby Doo when I see Daphne, so it's quite dated to me. I think that the two sound pretty together though, they flow nice.

Other than preferring the name Daveigh, I think Daphne Odora is alright. I say Odora the same way you do, and yes it does have the word 'odor' in it, but I think your explanation makes the whole 'odor' thing less obvious, to me at least.

I also think Daphne Aurora sounds nice.

I like your other favorites too. How do you pronounce Letticia though? I've heard it like "Le-tish-uh" and "Le-tea-see-uh".

I like Daphne and Sophie. I agree with the smell comments people have made about Odora. I personally don't like Letticia, just sounds like an old lunch lady name to me, sorry.

I love Daphne. It's one of my favorites. I haven't heard Odora before. What does it mean?

I like Sophie, but it's just too popular for my taste. And I don't really care for Letticia. All I can think of is lettuce. :o/

I actually like Daphne Odora! Odora is different but not terrible. Letticia/Lettie is cute, but I don't really care for Sophie/Sophia.

I love all names except Odora. It just reminds me of 'odor'. I don't know, sounds a bit strange.
