Since there's nothing better to do...

Holland Francesca (me)
Eleanor Rose (sister #1)
Breckan Emma (sister #2)
Maelyn* Cecille (Sister #3)
Ariadna  Zofia (mom)
Conrad Jerzy (dad)

*Maelyn is pronounced Muh-lin, although we call her Mae, like May, as a nn.

My parents are straight from Poland, hence their names.

Holland Francesca: I was named Holland because my parents loved Holland. They went to Amsterdam almost every summer, and I was supposedly conceived there. Francesca is after my mother's French nanny she had as a child. She loved Francesca because she spoke many languages, and taught my mother who always loved languages.

Eleanor Rose: nn Ellie. Eleanor comes from the song by The Beetles called Eleanor Rigby. My father played this song outside her window when they were teens, and ever since she wanted to name one of her daughters Eleanor. Rose just went well with Eleanor... no big story on that.

Breckan Emma: I get hell for this name whenever I mention it to anyone. My sister had no name for the first three days of her life. My parents were totally stuck and couldn't find a name at all to fit her. In the hospital my sisiter Ellie, who was then two, repeated me saying "Stop bragging!" So she walked over to my mom and yelled it, but it sounded like "That's Breckan!" And as my mom tried to decipher what  she was saying, she thought that regardless it was a pretty name. *shrug* As for Emma, I loved the book Emma by Jane Austen, so I suggested it, and it suck as well.

Maelyn Cecille:  My father's mother's name was Malin, but I suppose my parents wanted to make it less popular or something. Not that Malin is a popular name anyways, but whatever. Cecille was after my aunt's twin brother who dies at birth. His name Cecil.

I personally love your families names... they're so unique and special, but at the same time each can be made into a short and simple nickname :).

I LOVED reading those stories! How special! Brecken is a really great name, even for a girly girl. If it really doesn't fit her she could go by Emma. That's super girly.
