I'm Carlie, 26

It freaks my boyfriend out to talk about kids, so I'm very very clucky today and just want to do my fun little baby names here....(we are not TTC for a while but some days my clock starts ticking pretty loudly!)

his last name is Wakefield (isn't that so perfectly British Isles?) so i'm aiming for names that work well with that....I love names that are Celtic and Greek especially. I am British and German, he is Irish and Norwegian, so I'd like to stick to those even though I have a serious love for Greek names!

ideas/comments/suggestions? just had to get this out of my brain!!! (and btw....I only want daughters. if i have boys i just want the classic, popular names like Alexander, Andrew, Aidan...hmm apparently I only want A names!)

I like Summer, Lily, Kiara. Major, major, major no Megan. Way too common.

And in response to the above commenter, I really do like Aisling, but seriously, if I were to name a kid that I'd give her the easier, American spelling Ashlyn/Ashlynn. The poor kid would never be able to spell her name, nor would anyone else.

Jacinda - NOT to sound racist at all but when I think of this name... I see a very portly black woman...
Amethyst - Too much.
Christiana - Kind of plain
Mara - Not my style
Jasmine - Was supposed to be my sister's name... it's not a personal favorite, but it's nice.
Lara - Tomb Raider ;)
Chloe - It's nice, but I always see it as a pets name...
Lily - beautiful, even though it's becoming so common.
Summer - very nice... I know a little girl named "Summer Bree", it's so pretty
Isabelle - I like "Isabella" but it's nice :)
Lyndsey - WAY TOO MANY, and the spelling is too bizzare for me --> Lindsey
Trinity - It's OK...

Megan - There are too many Megan's in the world... I graduated in a class of 90 and there were 5 Meg(h)an's...
Adele - beautiful and unique name, I have a friend by that name.
Allyson - I know too many... so it's too common for me personally
Kiara - I like "Kiera" better, but still very nice.
Kate - plain... why not use it as a middle name, or as a nickname?

My favorite by far is Lily :)

I love Lily and Isabelle (well, I prefer Isabel, but Isabelle is nice, too.) Both sound good with Wakefield, too. Kate and Christiana are pretty as well :)

My best friend is named Lyndsey, spelled like that. It always looks weird to me to see it spelled otherwise. I think it's a pretty spelling, even though she gets it spelled wrong all. the. time.
