[identity profile] linds-ayyy.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
being that my SO and I are crazy plan-ahead-ers and both happen to be unable to fall asleep these days, we sort of "finalized" a list of names that we really like, for when the time comes.

My name is Lindsay Harvi and his name is Justin Eric. Our last name starts with a T.

Our undisputed favorites:
Michael Edward Ellis (my father's full name)
Tessa Marilynn (a favorite of ours + our mother's middle names Marie & Lynn put together)

Now, I'm not big on "kreatyve" first names, but I don't think creativity in a middle name is problematic, as long as it's not obnoxious or too out there- seeing as it is rarely neccessary to pronounce/spell/say one's middle name.

Our agreed upon girls' names:
Madeleine Ellamae (My favorite aunt, pronounced mad-a-LEEN, and my grandmothers)
Cadence Elizabeth (or Elizabeth Cadence)

Which brings me to another big question mark:
Zofia.
While we love the name, it doesn't have a middle name.
We thought about doing the combination thing again, but we can't combine Virginia and Jaqueline, or Honorata and Sabina (aka Lena). We also tossed around Lucille and Delilah.

We've also been throwing around the name Novi. (Yes, after Novi, MI) It's his hometown, and it started out as a joke but the more we say it, the more we like it. Pronounced No-VYE.

Other girls names we like: Alexis, Coraline, Lola, Scarlett, Ashlan, Eisley, Windsor, London and Emme.

Boys names were a little easier for us:
Holden Eric (LOVE it.)
Jackson Henry Thomas
Elijah/Isaiah Justin
Ian (also needs a middle name!)

Other ones I like at least: Nolan and Alexander.
