May. 14th, 2006 08:43 pmI find myself obsessed with boys’ names. There are very few truly ‘girly’ names that I like. Is anyone else like this?
Okay, here is a list of my current favourite names. Let me know what you think. Also, I'd love to hear of any combinations of the first/middle names that appeal to you.
Boys:
Theodore
Elliott
Milo (My – low)
Noah
James
Oliver
Simon
Elijah
Neville
Emery
Quinn
Liam
Seamus (Shay – mus)
Girls:
Elliott
Rylan
Willow
Ean
Middle Names:
Cyrus
Patrick
Morgan
Spencer
Wyatt
Drew
Lawrence
Jude
Ashton
Reese
Marty
Finn
Jack
Wilder
Montague
Also, I think my grandparents’ names are rather funny/interesting. They are: Dennix and Birte (beer-ta), Camilla and Vernon.

Date: 2006-05-15 09:20 am (UTC)oliver is one of my top two favorite boys names. all the others are great too though.
i dont like any of your girls names. well, i like elliott of course, but im on the fence about it being a girls name.
as for the middle names, i like cyrus, jude, finn (another favorite of mine, but for a girl), jack and wilder. but they all depend on what the first name is.

Date: 2006-05-15 09:42 am (UTC)I really love the name Oliver. Do you like the female version, Olivia?
I love Elliott as a girl's name. I think the nn 'Ellie' is awfully cute.

Date: 2006-05-15 10:19 am (UTC)oliver, yes. *love* but i dont particularly like olivia. its pretty, but too trendy/popular for my liking.
i have an online friend who really loves elliott for a girl. i am completely torn about it. i like it for a boy, but love the nickname eli and dont think it works with elliott, so i was thinking one day what you would nn elliott and came up with ellie, of course, and then it occurred to me that it might be better as a girls name. im still stuck on it being a boys name, but someone posted here that they knew someone who named their little girl elliette, pronounced the same, which looks nicer and more feminine to me. im all over the map about it!
