I think it's an alright name. I think of Oscar Wilde. But also the baby from Ghostbusters II (Bill Murray says poor kid was named after a hot dog or something like that) hehe. My fiance thinks of Trinidad and De La Hoya.

The only nicknames I think of are Oz and Ozzy, both of which sound fine to me but the full name sounds just as good.

I always think of Hugh Jackman. And not 'cause he just hosted, but I think he has a son named Oscar. I really don't like it, I don't know what it is about it though.

It seems like a very gruff name to me, and otherwise just reminds me of Sesame Street or hotdogs. But it's a decent name.

It seems I'm the only one thinking The Odd Couple so far. Kind of odd really, as that show was before my time and I grew up with Sesame Street. Oscar the Grouch didn't even cross my mind until I started reading through the comments. I digress. I don't really like the sound of it. I never have. Sorry.

I've always hated the name Oscar cus every time i hear it I think of Hot dogs. Anyways, on to nicknames, Ozzy or Oz.
