I posted a list last night of baby names I've heard on another journaling community.

Here are a few I forgot. Some are just possibilites at this point: The person hasn't actually had the baby yet. If they are unsure of the sex, I've posted both names that they are considering.

John William ("Liam") - why not name him William? Giving a nickname based on a MIDDLE name is kinda stupid if you ask me.

Damien Xavier/Davina - Love Damien. Davina SCREAMS ghetto fabulous to me.

Noah Jacob - very plain and I'm not a fan of Noah, but compared to the rest of these people's choices... it's a good one.

Xavier James/Kaylen Paige - I hate Xavier. James is adorable. Kaylen is SO trendy and it should be spelled Cailin.

Troy Steven Jr/Rebekah Renee - Troy sounds like a total hick name, Rebecca is nice, but Rebekah is not. Renee is hideous.

Jacob Lawrence/Megan Elyse - I like them both!

Madison Kate - ugh, please. At least it's not Maddysynn or something, though.

Nicholaus Charles/Lydia Mae - I hate Nicholas spelled like that. Lydia sounds too old fashioned to me. NMS, but it's okay.

Kaelyn Rose - oh, God. Worse than Kaylen.

Spencer James - cute

Krista Nicole/Brenden Grant - Krista is VERY trashy sounding. I hate Brenden.

Issac Syndey or Issac Steven - I hope you misspelled this one and they meant Isaac. Sydney is horrid for a boy.

Emagin Ajia (pronounced "Imagine Asia", called "Emma") - OMG. Srsly?

Charlotte Olivia/Nicholas Matthew - cute

Mickenzie Lauren/Matix Michael - Mickenzie? Matix? WTF? Nasty.

Addison Louise/Kaison Michael - Kaison? Like Jason with a K? Gross. Addison is gross as well.

Harrison/Aurora - Aurora is cute, Harrison screams old man to me.

Anna Grace/Quinten Jack - eh, they're okay. NMS but okay.

Atreyu Sabastian/Lilith Marie - Atr--what?? Umm no. Lilith Marie is okay.

Autumn Marie - I hate the name Autumn.

Mary Grace - LOL. Mary is cute. Grace is cute. Together, though? Too much!

Merikalyn Taylor - WTF? First of all, it looks like Mare-eek-a-lynn, not Americalynn with no A. Second of all, it's horrible.

Nolyn Pierre - Nolin is okay, Nolyn is not.

Colby Johnathon - Colby is NMS, but its okay.

Madisyn Alivia - No comment... just... wow.

Caden Anthony - Ugh so over Caden/Brayden/Aiden.

Aliyah Shante - huh? It's okay...

Elijan Dante - okay

Brendyn, Darren, Indigo, Kurt, or Winter - Winter??? Uh no... Kurt is okay, NMS, Indigo?? WTF? How about Purple or Blue or Red? Darren is okay, NMS. Brendyn is horrid.

As far as John William goes, his fathers name was John William, and it's gone back for many generations. Rather than calling the person John, they base a nickname on the middle name (Will, Bill, Liam). It's a family tradition.

I did misspell Isaac. That was my fault :) And Sydney is traditionally a boys name. Perhaps you're thinking of Syndey/Cindy.

And, little Harrison will someday be an old man Harrison ;)
