Ok, honestly, is Elizabethany a REAL name or just one that a parent decided to push together? I really hate the sound of it, but if it's legit, I can't hate too much.

Also, a name from today: Addylynn.

It's definitely just Elizabeth and Bethany shoved together; I like one or the other, together it sounds ridiculous.

I don't like the spelling of Addylynn, but I'm not sure how to spell it to make it sound the way I'd like it. Like Madeline... Mad-uh-lynn. I like the sound of that, but not of Mad-EE-lynn or Mad-uh-lyne. ... hope that made sense.

You're right in hating it. Someone decided to be funny or cute by mushing Elizabeth and Bethany together. But it's neither funny nor cute.

Is the second name pronounced A-dee-lynn, or A-duh-lynn? I'd prefer the A-duh-lynn pronunciation--Addylynn doesn't age very well. I don't like the spelling, either. Too many y's and double letters!

I wouldn't use it, but I've heard worse. It also looks to me like Elizabethan with a y added.
