Octo-Babies Names.

I was reading TMZ today, and they've reveiled the names of all of Octo-Moms kids. Here they are..

Caleb Kai
Elijah Makai
Calyssa Ariklyn
Aidan
Amerah Yasmen
Joshua Jacob

Noah Angel
Maliyah Angel
Isaiah Angel
Nariyah Angel
Jonah Angel
Jeremiah Angel
Josiah Angel
Makai Angel

I'm have no idea why all 8 of those kids have the same middle name, why Aidan doesnt have a middle name, or what her fasination with the sound of "Kai" is.. like, really. I guess coming up with names for 14 kids is a daunting task. =\

I think the answer to all of your questions in this post is:

She's batshit crazy.

[identity profile] shechoselove.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
That statement may be a bit overdone, but I loled nonetheless.

[identity profile] shechoselove.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
er, overused

Agreed.

this. for sure.

I'm definitely not into matchy names at all but when 7 out of the 8 octuplets names ends in 'ah' she could hav atleast made the last one end in 'ah' aswell :\ It's like having 5 children named - Aiden, Brayden, Jayden, Cayden and Jack..

...anyway the whole situation is just too queer to question, lol.

:| I didn't even notice that! I must've had momentary blindness or something haha.

hmm. wow. that's so random Aidan doesn't have a middle name, haha.

I only like Noah, and that's mainly because that's my nephew's name & I grew to love it. I like Jacob, too. I would like Maliyah if it was pronounced Muh-lee-uh

I've come up with hundreds of names for characters for stories. I think the lady is just batshit. ;)

[identity profile] stormqueen280.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Seconded. Thinking about names? Not that hard. Any website can help you, and it's not like she had to choose between her four or five PERFECT names. She's got to use them all! How hard can it be?

[identity profile] pythianlegume7.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
haha not everyone is name crazy like us! I have 2 sibs, and my dad told me that they had trouble naming the youngest.

[identity profile] stormqueen280.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, but people usually can't pick one name from five or six they like. She didn't even need to choose, she was having eight babies!

[identity profile] stillbefree.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
I like Caleb, Elijah, Joshua, Noah, Isaiah, and Jeremiah

[identity profile] chirpygirly.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
I watched her in interviews. All of them have the middle name Angel, even Aidan. I don't know why Tmz didn't have it, but she said herself they all have the same middle name, because they all (children) are 'angels'.

[identity profile] smallandneedy.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
that's stupid.

[identity profile] shortbutfast.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 08:21 am (UTC)(link)
that woman is seriously disturbed and should be evaluated by a shrink.

[identity profile] freezemyazaleas.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 09:00 am (UTC)(link)
I hate these names (and this woman... she should not be famous!) so much that it makes me want to pull all my hair out!

[identity profile] ditzyfish.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Well those are mostly Hebrew names which I like. But I still find it amazing that no one made her seek professional help before this happened. If 6 kids couldn't cure her loneliness whats to say 8 more can? I'd be very surprised if she doesn't try to have more.

Dogs are fabulous for curing loneliness. I wonder why she didn't try that.

[identity profile] den-snilek.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think she had the 8 because of loneliness. She simply did not believe in killing fertilized embryos because she thought of them as children already... nothing to do with loneliness at all.

[identity profile] sandtree.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think it is as simple as that, actually... this woman is clearly obsessed with children, and having children is the only thing that makes her feel good. She said she didn't believe in killing the embryos, but she probably would've tried to use them all anyway, even if not all at once, because she seems to have this insane need to have children. So it's really not as simple as her just not wanting to kill the embryos.

[identity profile] den-snilek.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
What makes you think she is obsessed with children? Do people who have more than the American 2.4 children have an obsession?

You can speculate all you want.. but seriously it's rather rude to state she is having children to cure her loneliness.

[identity profile] cassandrakfreaq.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 12:45 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah but she states she will be basically everything her children need and yet she believes with the job she will get from her degree she is in the process of getting that she can provide for them.....my mom was single with three kids and we did suffer from that even with her doing the best she possibly could have. How can a woman with 14 delude herself to think she can? there is some serious unbalanced and selfish thinking here...

[identity profile] laminy.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I like Noah. That's about it. That would probably be only good thing about having fourteen kids, I'd actually be able to use most of my names.

[identity profile] taleofaredhead.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
I had a history teacher whose legal middle name was "R". I guess his parents forgot to fill in the rest? Poor Aidan, anyway.
