I'm watching Trivial Pursuit and there is a woman on it named Mignon. There was also a guy in the past named Cutter.

Mignon as in Filet Mignon?
That's weird.
And with the whole emo thing, Cutter's probably not a great name.

If they pronounce it like 'Mee-yon' (or Meen-yon) I kind of like it. I love that it means 'cute'.

It's pronounced like Filet Mignon.

So...like Mee-yon, right? Or is Filet Mignon pronounced differently there than here (in Europe)?

In the US--my region, at least--we say fi-lay meen-yon. In other words, we pronounce the n after the g.

I don't think Mignon is too weird, actually. Here is New Orleans we have a local jewelry artist, Mignon Faget...which if you don't know how to pronounce it can look like a very very bad name. ;)

The first thing I thought of was Mignon Faget! I love some of her fleur de lis jewelry.

Mignon means "cute" in French, I believe.
Still. Both are weird.

Mignon? Seriously? Wait, how old is she and where is she from? Not that that will make it better but it'd be nice to know.
Cutter? Hmmmm....I think his parents were doing some PRETTY kinky things when he was conceived....
