Just saw the middle names for the octomom's octoplets:

Angel. That's right, all eight have the middle name Angel.

In other news these names came across my desk today:

Coy (m)
Jhulee (f)
Kringle (f)

Oh boy.

I often dont comment on names I don't particularly like - but these are AWFUL. Oh dear.. perhaps someone likes them, but my preference is to say that all three are terrible names for children.

Is it a unique and originality desire that makes people name their kids either weird things, or the most bizarre spellings of normal names? I'm not sure I understand entirely.

Poor people. I think I'd change my name if it was that bad.

Oh yeah, I heard about that. In fact, i think that's ALL 14 of the kids. They all have the last name Solomon too. (Her name is Suleman not Solomon.)

Coy - NO
Jhulee - Please God tell me that's not a horrible spelling of Julie?
Kringle - I see MANY Santa Claus/Kriss Kringle jokes in her future.

Coy is a very old-fashioned name for boys. I believe it was popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

I'd settle for her uterus being removed and her doctor's license being revoked. I'm sure 90% of the public would gladly donate a dollar to the cause...

Good idea, then all of those kids can become wards of the state. EVEN BETTER!

It would be. You know all those babies would be adopted no problem. And better a ward of the state than with an unfit mother.

Shoot the mother, let the kids get adopted. Brilliant plan. If only everyone thought like you.

As much as I think she made a terrible decision, I don't think any of us can say she is unfit or not unless/until there is proof of that. I also don't think that all her kids would be adopted "no problem", either, and I'm strongly pro-adoption. I don't think there is an easy solution for this mess, unless one of us can invent a time machine and smack some sense into that woman before the kids came along. I can't even listen to news updates about that family anymore. What a disaster.

If Coy is a legit name, then I can see that. But I want to keep changing the spelling to Koi--then I remember that's a kind of fish.

Kringle's bad, but Jhulee is downright obnoxious! If only the people who make creative spellings realized that it makes them look ignorant and illiterate.
