That's it, I've fallen madly in love. With the name Anneliese, that is. What do you think? Middle name suggestions?

I think it's really pretty. I like the middle name Lenore with it, for some reason.

Anneliese is an old-fashioned German name and it's not really my type.

I used to like the name until my husband told me it sounded like Anal-Ease. I do love the nickname Liesel for it.

Anneliese would actually have four syllables (final E is not silent) in Germany. The French version of the name would have three syllables, like you want, but the spelling is (at least to me) not quite as attractive.
