A nick name for Theodore Daniel III.

A  friend suggested "Tripp" as in triple/third. No Ted or Danny though, please, because they're in use by the first two :P

Thanks!

A friend of mine is named Theodore but everyone calls him TJ. It's not his initials or anything so I never really understood it.. but I guess it's a good alternative to a nickname like Theo.

I've known a few "thirds" who have gone by Trey.

I would go with Trey. It seems the most logical plus I think it's a nice/cool nick name that will age well.

There's always Trace, like "tres", Spanish for three.

I have a friend named Daniel David and he went by DD as a kid. So, you could use TD. Just another suggestion.

i have been thinking about the possibility of my fiance and i having a III also. we have been tossing around the idea. so, i really like tripp a lot.

i also know a guy who goes by trey who is a III'd. but i prefer tripp.

in your case, theo.

lol honestly, if i ever was going to have a boy and he was going to be the '3rd' the nn i liked was: "trè" spelled the Italian way and pronounced the same. it covers a lot of ground:

sounds like the name 'Trey', i means 'three' in Italian, and it's also the nn/stage name of one of my favorite drummers --- Tré Cool from Green Day. (who, himself, is also a 'third' lol)

I used to know a boy who was the third of his name in his family, and he just went by Third. I thought it was funny.
