My sister gave birth to girl this afternoon.

Lillian Lorraine

What do you think?

Both are family names.

I don't think I like it. I love Lillian but not with Lorraine.

I love Lillian - it's one of my favorites. (I really like the nn Lily)

Lorraine is ok - not sure it pairs well with the other L name (tell me her last name isn't L too...) It's not a favorite, but the more I am saying Lillian Lorraine the more it's growing on me.

I prefer Lorraine to Lillian (although I don't have a problem with Lillian past the cloying popularity).

Together, it's too heavy on the alliteration for me.

I love it. The only downside is that it's a LOT of L's.

I like both of those names. I'm not sure how I like them together, but it's a lovely name. :)

I LOOOOVE Lillian. Not huge on Lorraine as a middle name - too many L's for my taste.

Neither name is a favorite of mine, but I don't really have anything against them. I kind of like the lyrical quality of the combination.

I like Lillian but Lillian Lorraine doesn't really flow together well. It seems very heavy.
