I told my cousin of your reactions to the name Shoshana Carleigh, and she now sees that Carleigh is a bit much with that spelling (That was the part of the name I disliked, not the Shoshana).
So we were thinking of Leigh names, and we came up with-

Cayleigh/Kayleigh/Caleigh/Kaleigh
Ainsleigh
Ashleigh
Kyleigh/Kileigh
Ryleigh/Rileigh



Some of these, I agree with what most of you are likely to say: The spelling looks terrible!

I STRONGLY agree with arbus - Shoshana Leigh is beautiful! As for all those other -leighs...I can't really say the same. :\
