[identity profile] starshucks.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I'm reading reviews on items on Babiesrus. My cousin is due sometime in July and so I'm looking at items to possibly get her. Out of curiousity I decided to read reviews on strollers and came across a review by a mother of 20 who happened to put her kids names in the review, she even said they were multiples... Here they are:
Quads: Hannah, Lindsey, Tori, Maddy
Triplets: Ally, Ayden, Aydrian
Quads: Gavin, Owen, Payton and Brody
Triplets: Tessa, Landon, Brayden
Sextruplets: Chasidy, Chasen, Charliegh, Channing, Chandler and Chelsey

WDYT?

Mom seems to have a thing for Irish/Scottish/English names.

Also: Jesus Christ, lady. It's a vagina, not a clown car.

i can deal with:

hannah
lindsey
tori
gavin
owen
chandler (if only for happy thoughts about matthew perry)

that said, the people with the creative spellings and the matchy letter choices make me cringe.

eta: totally didnt understand that they were all supposed to be from the same woman. that said, i stick by my decision.

That's what the name makes me think of too.

Agreed. It sounds to me more like someone wishing (for whatever ludicrous reason) that they had these sets of matchy-named multiples.

Who is this woman and why have I not seen her on TLC?

If she's telling the truth, uh... well, either way, she has bad taste in names.

I think "mom" is either a troll or totally insane.

The only names I like are:
Hannah
Adrian (spelled like this, though)
Gavin
Owen

It bothers me when siblings have names with the same letter. I know a lot of people do it; I guess it's just a weird pet peeve of mine.

Ayden, Aydrian, Brayden look to be like they wanted to feminize the names (which I think it's just my opinion that "y" tends to be more feminine than "i").

It's kind of like reading a poem:
Maddy, Brody
Ayden, Brayden
Chasidy, Chasen, Chelsey
Lindsey, Tori, Maddy, Ally, Brody, Chasidy, Charleigh, Chelsey

I wonder if Chasidy is pronounced "dee" or "tee". Also, why do Charliegh and not Chelsiegh? I wonder if Chariegh is a girl. . .
