Feb. 5th, 2009 10:52 amI stumbled across this community yesterday and, after scrolling through some of the posts, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite names. Bolded are the names I plan on using for my children someday.
Boys : Fox, Rhys, Holden, Theo (pronounced Tay-oh), Callum, Naoise, Eamon, and Dresden.
Girls : Peter Rene, October Jude, Clemence, Margot, Saoirse, Eira, Emory, Joss, and Maude.
Thoughts? And any good opinions on middle names for Fox and/or Callum?

Date: 2009-02-06 05:20 pm (UTC)Holden and Rhys are at the top of my name list (although I'd probably use Reece, personally), and I love Margot and Eira.
Peter on a girl makes me think of an L.M. Montgomery story, "The Quarantine at Alexander Abraham's." "If I had been a boy my parents intended to call me Peter in honour of a rich uncle. When I–-fortunately–-turned out to be a girl my mother insisted that I should be called Angelina. They gave me both names and called me Angelina, but as soon as I grew old enough I decided to be called Peter. It was bad enough, but not so bad as Angelina." At the end of the story, after Peter is proposed to, her fiancé tells her that he refuses to call her Peter now, and he'll always call her Angelina after this.
Anyway...hello! Welcome.
