Feb. 5th, 2009 10:52 amI stumbled across this community yesterday and, after scrolling through some of the posts, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite names. Bolded are the names I plan on using for my children someday.
Boys : Fox, Rhys, Holden, Theo (pronounced Tay-oh), Callum, Naoise, Eamon, and Dresden.
Girls : Peter Rene, October Jude, Clemence, Margot, Saoirse, Eira, Emory, Joss, and Maude.
Thoughts? And any good opinions on middle names for Fox and/or Callum?

Date: 2009-02-06 01:08 am (UTC)As for Peter Rene, I just don't think it's a good idea. I don't think that adding an extra -e to the end of Rene would make it honor your mother any less...it's not like it was her who chose to spell her name that way in the first place (I assume). Also, I don't think it's a good combination of names in general, simply because it doesn't flow very nicely in my opinion....
Have you even considered Petra Rene(e)? Another thing you could do would be to just maybe add a second middle name? One that's clearly 100% feminine...As opposed to the other two which (in my and most people's opinion) are clearly 100% masculine? This way your daughter would at least have the option of going by a female name if she wanted to...
