Rate this name, please? 1 = hate, 10 = love.

It's Russian for 'white bear'.

I like it if you are Russian or have a Russian background/heritage.

Lots of people use names for which they have no heritage or background in common with the nationality of the name.

Yeah - and I think it can sound kinda silly when they do. Mishka Gonzalez doesn't sound right to me. Mishka Kovalev sounds good. It's just my opinion.

I think it is a cute name, perhaps better as a nickname? But I do like it.

Its cute for a baby but I can't imagine anyone over the age of like 10 with that name. Though, I do like the meaning just because I've had a stuffed bear since the day I was born that I call White Bear!

Would it be for a boy or a girl?

I was thinking that it sounds a lot like a diminutive for a Russian boy's name... wolf_shadow's comment makes a lot of sense. Names like Misha or Sasha on girls always make me lol, in my head, just a tiny bit (even though Sasha can be used for Alexandra, too). Otherwise it's a nice name.

I'm surprised that I don't like it. I don't know what I do; I love Misha, but there's just something about it. I think it's a nice name though.

I think it's cute, but I like Misha better.

Not to be a bitch, but it doesnt mean that at all ;)

Mishka is just a variant of Misha, the short form of Mikhail.

White bear is Belyi Medved'... :D

Not my favorite Russian name. It sounds too girlish and nicknamey to me. I like Mikhail better.
