Please don't name your child Riley. When my parents named me way back in 1990 it wasn't even popular for boys, so they thought they were safe. Now when I go out in public, mall, grocery shopping, whatever, EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear my name being shouted at small children. That is not an exaggeration. The little girl across the street from me is named Riley. There's a little girl a block down from me named Riley. I was asked to babysit for some friend's children, one of whom was named Riley.

Save your child. Give her a name that won't be the same as 5 other girls in her kindergarten class.
