I've got the big u/s in about 2 weeks, where I hope to learn the gender of the bean! Yay! I've got my girl name picked and set, but I'm struggling with a middle for the boy.
I LOVE the name Oliver, so that's going to be the first name. The only middle names I've come up with that don't make me wince are:
Oliver Austen Stene
Oliver Brandon Stene
Oliver Edward Stene
As you can see I'm using Jane Austen for inspiration. Lol. But that's because I just recently reread Sense and Sensibility.
I'm not in love with any of those. I think I have one of those last names that's just... rough. It's hard to find anything that flows well with it. It's pronounced like Green but with a St.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Date: 2009-02-02 04:58 pm (UTC)Edward would be my second choice, but it might be nice to follow a fairly normal name with a more unusual one rather than another normal one. Do the names have any meaning or are they just names you like? Perhaps you can think of some people you would like to honour by using their first or middle names as Oliver's middle name. Baby's father/grandfather/great grandfather, male friends, etc. I think when a middle name actually means something the flow of the whole name is less important.

Date: 2009-02-03 02:00 am (UTC)Jane Austen and Jane Eyre have made me want to use Jane as a middle name, after I hated the name for so long.
