All these people are having babies! Another friend had a baby!!!

The mother is Caitie, the father is David, and the new baby girl is Janis Amaya. I think she did good, I don't LOVE Amaya, but it's not horrible. Thoughts?

wow you don't really see Janis around a lot!
It's my mom's name :) her friends used to call her Nis.
Of course she gets her name spelled Janice all the time, since it's a little more common. I prefer the "nis" spelling!

I like the combination! I think your friend did a really good job!!
It has a little exotic vibe!

I'm not a fan of Janis. I actually like Amaya, which is a Japanese name, I believe, so it's nice on actual Japanese babies, but annoying on people who just want to sound edgy/trendy.
