Jan. 21st, 2009 09:27 pmQuestion!
My mother passed away when I was 15 (almost 7 years ago) and I've always wanted to honor her by naming my child after her. Her name was Brenda. Problem is, I really don't want it as a first name because my best friend's estranged sister is also named Brenda. Could it be used as a middle name? I'm really not sure since I've never come across it.
Thanks.

I think naming your child after your mother is a lovely idea! :)
