One syllable or something that is commonly shortened to one syllable. I'm trying to find something with a similar vibe or feeling as Graham (who is sometimes called Gray) Leaning towards Cate but have also considered Ann, May, and Rose. What do you guys think? Thanks!

I'd avoid May - rhyming sibsets are pretty tacky. I like Cate as a nickname for Catherine or Ann as a nickname for Anna.

Other ideas:
Abigail (Gail)
Ashley (Ash)
Breanna (Bree or Ann)
Claire
Emily/Emma (Em)
Jennifer (Jen)
Josephine (Jo)
Maud
Maureen (Mo)
Melanie/Melina (Mel)

I like Claire as well.

And Cate.

(but I like C-names, lol)
