A week after their second daughter's birth, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have announced her name, Garner's reps tell PEOPLE exclusively.

It is Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.

The baby was born Jan. 6 in Los Angeles. Garner and Affleck, both 36, are also parents to daughter Violet, 3.

While no explanation was offered for the name, or if she was named for anyone, one Web site specializing in the origin of names refers to Seraphina as "derived from the Biblical word 'seraphim,' which was Hebrew in origin and meant 'fiery ones.' "

ETA: I totally read it at first (on a different site) as "Rose Elizabeth". And I thought that it went well with Violet Anne even if it was a little matchy with the two flower names and then a really classic middle name. I don't like Seraphina. It looks misspelled to me for some reason.

ETA 2 - Electric Boogaloo: If they had rearranged the middle names it would've made the nickname "Sera" work both from her first name and the initials. Thoughts on that?

I dislike it. I think it's a mouthful (and not a very pretty one at that). I LOVE the name Violet, and this name just makes me go :\.

Once again, they prove to be the classiest baby namers in Hollywood. Not a huge fan of double middle names, but I like it none the less.

I do wish it was S Elizabeth Rose instead of S Rose Elizabeth.

Big fan of Seraphim, so I am inclined to like Seraphina.

I like the spelling Serafina better but all in all I think it's a pretty name. Not at all what I expected them to name her though. Rose Elizabeth would have matched better with Violet Anne. Violet and Seraphina, hmm Idk it doesn't flow that well together.

Don't really like it. I don't like double middles, and think that Rose and Violet, though matchy with their flowerness, would have worked better. It's a long name for a little girl. But, I do give them this: her name isn't Bronx, Guitar, or Audio Pilot or some such nonsense. Not my style, but it could have been *SOOOOOOO* much worse.

It's ok. Maybe it will grow on me. I think either Rose Elizabeth or Elizabeth Rose would have "gone better" with Violet, but I can also see them maybe thinking those names were too ordinary and wanting something a little more unusual with more pizazz.

What's the syllable emphasis/pronunciation? I read it in my head as ser-AH-phin-a, but I'm not sure this is right or just my gut instinct based on the Hebrew word. I can imagine some people saying sara-FEEN-ah, which I don't like at all.

I actually don't like Seraphina at all. Sera's not bad, but Seraphina just seems like they are trying way too hard to be different, which just comes out being awful. I think they totally nailed it with Violet Anne, but failed miserably this time around. Rose Elizabeth would be matchy but 18 million times better.

Absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I don't like about it is that now I could probably never use Seraphina, which I've liked since I was a little girl, because of the Bennifer connotations. It is lovely, though (but Seraphina Elizabeth Rose sounds better, I think).

I like Seraphina very much, but I would never use it. I dislike both Rose and Elizabeth, but I don't mind the double middle names.

I like it. Seraphina is a bit much for me, but it's still a nice name. I think it's classy, not just 'look how yooneek we are' like a lot of celebrity baby names.

Love it. I LOVE Seraphina. I think they didn't have to go with the double middle names, but it works. It's very pretty.

That's a lot of name. I do like Serafina though.

Wow, wasn't expecting that and it's pretty lengthy. Overall though it's not bad and will probably grow on me.

Love it! Middle names are a bit generic, and I wish they were reversed (for rhythm) but I LOVE Seraphina. Very pretty!

Seraphina and Rose, two of my absolute least favourite names. I think that Seraphina is horribly ugly. Doesn't go with Violet at all, and makes me think that Violet was just a fluke of good choice.

I have nothing smart to say, just hoping that your "ETA 2-Electric Boogaloo" was a Breakin' reference!

It's not something I would choose, but I thinks it's better than Violet which just sounds way too much like violent. And I like the idea of switching middle names to get "S.E.R.A." the same as the first part of the first name. There's so many nick name possibilities! Sera "Sara", Rose, Rosie, Liz, Lizzy, Libby, Beth, Liz-beth.

It's very lengthy, and when I hear Seraphina I think of water for some reason. However, I think the rest of the name is pretty.

Too lengthy but initially, I thought Seraphina was really pretty. I still do like it. I really like Seraphina Rose.

I've seen Seraphina before. I think it's pretty. But yet again the double middle name trend baffles me.

I kind of like Seraphina for some reason. It sounds a bit too fluffy compared to Violet though. Not a fan of the multiple middle names, but if it's to honor family members or something it's OK.

I think it's very pretty. Not at all what I was expecting from them, though (the middle names are a lot closer to that). I'm interested to hear if they talk later about why they chose it.

Even if I hated it, it still proves way classier than crap like Bronx Mowgli. I like Seraphina a lot (although I like the Serafina spelling a bit better) and I think it works nicely with Elizabeth. Rose I'm not so wild about, especially because it sounds so match-y paired with Violet. But Seraphina is great. :)
