First of all - wdyt of the name Shoshana?

Secondly - does the fact that it's a Jewish name pop into your head as soon as you hear it? Would it be weird for a Catholic person to name their kid this?

Or maybe you're closed-minded and attribute personality traits to a NAME rather than one's actual actions.

And really, Shoshanna does NOT fit in with those names in the stereotypical sense that you're trying to convey.

Um....seeing as it's MY personal opinion, it fits in to my opinions however I say it does.

You don't have to agree with my opinion - but when I hear those names, I immediately think "hooker".

Well then on the same token, I could say that the name "Lucindrielle" makes me immediately think "White trash".
But I wont. Because its just a name. And thats my opinion.

Besides which, if someone claimed that they didn't have certain preconcived ideas when any given name popped into their head, 10 to 1 says they'd be lying. Same way some names make people think "old lady" or "sophisticated person".
