First of all - wdyt of the name Shoshana?

Secondly - does the fact that it's a Jewish name pop into your head as soon as you hear it? Would it be weird for a Catholic person to name their kid this?

Its a HEBREW name, I wouldn't say a "Jewish" name.
But if you like it, why not? I knew a girl named Shoshana who wasn't Jewish and though people asked her if she was a lot, she loved her name.

I was supposed to be named Shoshana but my parents named me a different Hebrew name, Sheera, meaning something a kin to "Melody".
