Cat and Dog names vs babies

Have you guys looked at the most popular cat and dog names? I was amused to find that some of the most popular pet names are also very popular baby names (or variations thereof):

Bella, Chloe, and Sophie for example

My name is Lucy, which is apparently popular for both cats and dogs... I have yet to come across any animal named Lucy though, so I guess that's kind of good (I also have yet to meet another person named Lucy).

I looked through the unusual names, and the dog named Spatula really brought a smile to my face. Too funny!

My best friends weenie dog was named Lucy. She was such a bitch, damn dog hated everyone but my best friend, her parents, and me. She used to attack our boyfriends constantly!

I LOVE dachshunds! Bunches! But I have noticed that there are some mean ones. You either get the calm laid back sweeties (like my aunts) or you get the meanies like my uncles. I love my aunts dog. He is affectionate, friendly, and likes to curl up in your lap. Everyone likes him. He was the reason my uncle got one! But my uncles dog is irritating, barks nonstop, is fearful of EVERYONE, and will bite at whim. The two dogs came from the same place but I think that maybe my uncle babies and protects his a little too much. As in he was always acting all worried about other people playing/holding him when he was growing up and so maybe the dog got the sense that people are bad except for his immediate family.

I didn't meet my best friend til sophomore year, and she had the dog since years before. And they told me Lucy always was weird around people, and they think it was b/c of her previous owner. Most girls she was ok with. She would let them pet her and stuff, but guys were completely off limits. She would freak out EVERY time she saw one.

My neighbor has a Lucy dalmatian but she is the only one I have met.

Lucy is one of my favorite (human) girl names. It is so romantic and timeless.
