babynamesI was wondering- I've heard people say a bunch of things, both bad and good, about my name. Some people LOVE it, and others hate it. I, for one, hate it.
My full name is Holland Francesca Abbott.
I go by Hollie, though.
I feel as though my name doesn't fit me whatsoever.

Date: 2006-05-04 06:27 am (UTC)I think Holland Francesca is an interesting combination because Francesca is a beautiful but frilly, feminine name... and Holland is fairly gender-neutral. Holland with the nickname Hollie makes me think of an independent, alternative, outgoing, successful and intelligent woman. If that woman has a bit of a "frilly, girly" side deep down then Francesca is a good middle name to go with it. But that's just my perception of the name
