OK... It seems that the hubby and I have narrowed it down to two middle names for our favorite girl's name of Zoe. The two finalists are Andrea (ahn-DRAY-uh) and Sophia.
[Poll #1327158]

If you don't like either, but can think of another middle name with the same rhythm pattern, please suggest it! TIA!

I don't know who started it, but when/if it ends it's always gonna be too late. Andrea is a male's name that actually MEANS "male" :/

Sophia on the other hand is mighty beautiful and I like the pairing :)

In Norway, Andrea is strictly a girls name and has been for quite some time.

All the Andrea's I've known have been women. I think it is a gorgeous name! It gets my vote most assuredly!

Life and wisdom. Zoe Sophia for the win.

i hate the name andrea. i think it's kinda boring and there are so many ways to pronounce it, it gets confusing.

I like Andrea, but not that pronunciation, and I think Zoe Sophia flows a lot prettier.

I voted for Zoe Andrea pronounced the way you said, but I know there can be pronunciation issues with that. Zoe Sophia also sounds really lovely.

As someone else mentioned, Sophia means wisdom. So, how about Zoe Athena, as Athena also means wisdom, and its sound is very similar to Andrea, which I think truly flows better than Zoe Sophia.

Here are some other suggestions.
Zoe Calista (Calista means beautiful so full name would mean "beautiful life")
Zoe Carina (Carina means Dear one)

I like Andrea... but how about Althea? Similar but IMO lovelier.

I like Sophia better, but I voted for Andrea because Zoe Sophia sounds awkward (because of the 'Zoe So-' part).

I second [livejournal.com profile] sallymn's suggestion: I like Althea. Anthea is nice too!

I voted for Zoe Sophia, although it doesn't flow as nicely as Zoe Andrea. I just really hate the name Andrea. Zoe Althea would be so much better :)

Zoe is a lovely name, by the way!

I prefer Andrea, but I'm not crazy about it. I think Zoe Sophia sounds too repetitive - try saying it really fast. I think of the pronunciation ahn-DRAY-uh as being an Italian male name. Every female Andrea I've met has pronounced it ANN-dree-uh, though I like the first pronunciation better in this case.

Other names with a similar rhythm:
Zoe Aurora
Zoe Ciara
Zoe Elena
Zoe Larisa
Zoe Marina
Zoe Michaela
Zoe Paloma
Zoe Paola
Zoe Ramona
Zoe Siena

I know this is a shade more boring than the other names that have been suggested, but my name is Zoe Anna, and I quite like it because of how it sounds together, I've had a few people in my life even call me that.

Also, my parents gave my brothers and I slightly unusual first names and then completely normal middle names just in case we didn't like our first name. But I'm quite sure she'll love Zoe:-)
