Some people in our church have 2 kids, and are expecting a third. Their kids are Dacey (girl) and Aiden. Baby number three, a boy, is destined to be named.... Brayden! Yep. A and B. Aiden and Brayden.*headdesk* *jawtable* *facepalm* I'm just wondering how long until they're joined by  Caiden and Dayden, Casey, Lacey and Macey. *sighs*

That's ridiculous. I mean, I dislike both names by themselves (although Aiden is better than all of the other -ayden names) but putting them together is really stupid. That's like naming your kids Polly and Molly or something.

It almost *almost* makes me think that these people don't love their kids enough to give their names more than 12 seconds of thought. It's like naming your kid Green because that was the color of scrubs the doctor was wearing. Geez.

The name Brayden is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me. Aiden and Brayden together is even worse. It reminds me of years ago when my brother went to school with sisters Kasey, Tracy, Macy, Lacey, and Stacy! I couldn't believe it, but confirmed it after meeting two out of the five myself!

One of them had twin boys, but darn it if I can't remember their names. It was something very traditional like Christopher and Michael.

I used to think names that rhymed were cool. Thank God I grew up.
