mental images connected with names...

I'm not advocating sizing someone up immediately simply on their name, but I notice that with some names I can't help but picture a certain type of person.  I'm wondering what people think of when they hear these names:
Cate
Lily
Rose

I don't generally have a mental image of what someone with a particular name looks like, but I often have images of what they *can't* look like, if that makes sense.

For instance, I can't imagine Lily on a person with blonde hair.

cate- bitchy and pompous...attention seeking girl (solely based on the fact that i went to h.s. with a girl named cate)
lily- artsy fartsy wanna be
rose- beautiful, good person all around. someone i would want to be :D

cate to me sounds like a classically pretty blonde girl. i have no thoughts about lily or rose.

I'm a Kate...so I kind of think of...well, me! haha.
Lily I picture as fair haired and fair skinned...very delicate.
Rose sounds old fashioned. I picture someone confident and strong. Dark hair for some reason.

I see Cate as a youngish woman (20s) with blond hair. Sophisticated. Lily makes me think of the little girl I babysit, so an adorable four year old with a huuuuge attitude. And Rose . . . hmmmm. I don't know what I picture.

Cate - Cate Blanchett (which I think I spelled wrong. . .)
Lily - I kind of think of an old friend's dog, but since I never actually saw the dog, not really. . .
Rose - The comic strip "Rose is Rose".

I think of all of them the same way: classy, sophisticated, reserved, introverted, but really fun and friendly when you get to know them. Sort of like Charlotte from Sex and the City.

Bleh, I just read that you were looking for mental images. Well, I see Cate and Rose like a blonde version of Charlotte from Sex and the City. Lily has long, flowing red hair and green eyes (just like Harry Potter's mom; yes I'm a nerd) and pale skin.

Let me edit to add that I picture Cate/Kates as haveing dark hair, but the others I don't picture a particular hair color or anything.
