Are there any celeb baby names that you love?

I ask this, because my friend just named her baby Harlow and until today, I didn't know it was the name of famous baby.

I loved Harlow before Nicole Richie had her baby, so I was upset when I found out that she'd used the name.

I think a lot of people thought that aswell. I know a few people who liked the name and so many who didn't, then the ever "classy" Nicole names her child that and it's the best name in the world suddenly.

I don't like Nicole Richie, but I do like the name Harlow. Wouldn't name my baby that though.

I love the name Harlow. I can't remember any off the top of my head, but just wanted to comment on this name, lol.

Harlow is a last name that is common around here, so I can't say that I LOVE it!

I actually really love Harlow too, the whole name in fact: Harlow Winter Kate. There's just something about it that works.

I don't like many of the weird ones, but I have to admit, I like Sunday Rose and I don't mind the sound of Honor. Whether I'd use them is another matter, but they're not terrible.

Sunday Rose. . .that one's familiar to me. Is that Keith Urban's daughter?

Violet. But.. that's mostly it. I'd never name my child Nahla or Bronx Mowgli. Ugh.

Mowgli reminds me of "The Jungle Book".

That's the point. Nahla was Simba's girlfriend and whatnot in Lion King [Hallie B.'s child]. Bronx - where he was conceived and Mowgli - b/c they bonded over the Jungle Book, is Ashlee & Pete's baby.

Oh, okay I get it now. I knew Nahla was from "The Lion King" but I couldn't remember for sure if Mowgli was from "The Jungle Book" or if it was just a similar name.

Hmm, I guess I'm more of a traditionalist; if I was to name my kid after a book/movie character it would be something like Gilbert or Anne.

I wonder how their kids feel when they read the book/see the movie and say, "Hey, that's my name!"?

What's Eating Gilbert Grape!?!

::laughs:: I was exposed to "Anne of Green Gables" at a young age, so it reminds me of Gilbert Blythe. but yes, "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" works too. :).

Taylor Hanson. His son's name is Jordan Ezra, but he goes by Ezra.

I love Violet and Moxie, but I don't think I'd ever use Moxie.

Yeah I'd never use Moxie but it's so damn cute!

Apple, of course!

Just kidding. I LOVE Harlow. Honor is okay. I also really like Kingston.

I prefer Annora to Honor.

Who named their baby Annora? Or is it just a random name?

I wouldn't say I love it, but Seven Sirius has some sort of weird appeal. (Erykah Badu and Andre Benjamin's little boy is named this.)

I also like the Jolie-Pitt kids' names: Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox, Pax, Knox, and Vivienne Marcheline (that's gorgeous). They did different without going over the top.

Clint Eastwood's daughter is named Francesca, which is pretty. Eddie Murphy's daughter's name is Zola which is cute, and one of Chris Rock's kids is named Lola. Sylvester Stallone named all his girls S names, and I like Sophia and Scarlet Rose.

Forest Whitaker has a kid named Sonnet Noel and another named Ocean Alexander, which work for me, but True Isabella Summer is too much. Why not drop the True?

I may get reamed for this, too, but for some reason I like Apple Blythe Alison. I mean, I wouldn't have named my own daughter that, but it's pretty.

Most celebrity baby names suck. It's like they're all trying to outdo each other and hurting their children with stupid names in the process. I guess you're more likely to get your kids' birth (and hence yourself) in the news if you give them dumb names. I think Frank Zappa takes the cake, with Diva Muffin, Moon Unit, Ahmet Rodan, and Dweezil (although I looked it up and Dweezil's real name is Ian Donald Calvin Euclid, which is long but normal.)

I saw on a yahoo group that a couple in Hawaii named their little girl "Taloula does the hula" that was her NAMEEEEEEEEE!!!
The poor little girl was so humiliated by it that she made her friends just cal her 'K'.
The couple were getting a divorce and fighting over custody of 'Taloula does the hula' and the judge made them change their name and told them they should be ashamed! Poor kid!

I believe her full name was actually "Talula Does The Hula In Hawaii." HORRIBLE!!!

As my mind blanks and my knowledge of celeb babies pretty much doesn't exceed outside of sports (haha!)

But I will throw the name "Gracyn" out there.

I've always loved both Lourdes & Rocco a whole lot. I wouldn't use them, but I think they're really pretty (and no, I'm not a Madonna-fanatic =P)!

I also think Harlow is pretty, by the way.

A tv presenter in the UK recently named her baby boy Harlow. So I can guess it goes either way now.
