[identity profile] sotypical42483.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I can pretty much guess which of these will be big HELL NO's with this community, but I've been working on this, my "master list" for a while now and I think I've narrowed it down to names I genuinely love. Girls names only, as the only boy names I'm really a fan of are Caleb, Isaac, and Nicholas.

Isabelle
Marissa
Kelly
Keira/Kiara (I prefer the second spelling, but I would pronounce it Key-air-uh and I think spelling it Kiara would make people say it Key-ahr-uh, ahr as in car)
Mallory (does this name sound dorky? I think it looks beautiful written out)
Elizabeth
Claire
Laura
Eleina (wasn't sure on the best way to spell this name)
Dawn
Malaia
Peyton
Halley (not Haley)
Natalia
Sydney
Kira
Arielle (had to spell it this way to distinguish from the mermaid a bit!)
Audrey
Kaia
Mary Anne (I love the name Mary, but it seems too short alone. This would be the complete first name)
Adelle
Amalia

i actually like a lot of these!

ones i don't like:
Dawn
Mary Anne
Adelle

my cousin's name is Dawn so it's a good association name for me, but it's just a little too out-dated for my taste [she was born in the 70s, as was a babysitter of mine with the name also].

mary anne is also a bit outdated and i had a daycare lady with the name who was just kind of weird.

names I'm neutral about:
marissa
kelly
elizabeth
claire
arielle

the rest i like :)

i've loved the name halley for a longggg time, but usually spelled Halle. kaia is one i've had my eye on before too.
