A guy I've recently started seeing has a 6-month old son named Jett James. His name is Joshua Dale, which I adore, although not Dale as much as Joshua.

Thoughts on both?

I like all of them, but Joshua Dale doesn't go together to me.

Ick. Jett James is awful. Joshua is fine, sort of ho hum, and Dale just isn't my style.

I can't help it, I have a secret love for Jett. Shoot me.

I really like Joshua too, but I don't know any Joshua's so it doesn't sound as tired to my English ears.

I actually like Jett, although it's not a name I'd use myself. And I like James, but it seems weird together. I think the double J AND the fact that they are both one-syllable names just makes it flow strangely. It's cool to see a slightly odd first name with a traditional middle name, though -- I think it works well.

I like Joshua, but not Dale. I think it sounds okay, though.

My nephew is named Jett and he is absolutely gorgeous so I love the name however I don't like it paired with James =\
