A person on my flist posted about friends of hers and their daughter. As soon the as I read it, I thought I'd get your opinion on the daughter's name.

Parents: Cathy and Mike
Daughter: Gissela

It just sounds kind of weird to me, I don't really like it, although it looks pretty.

The double 'g' and single 'l' is what makes it look funny to me. Gisella would be better, I think.

It's ok... It's sort of like Giselle, which isn't my style, but whatever.
It kind of reminds me of Grisabella- the cat that sings Memory in the (formerly) broadway show, Cats.
