Named by my sister.

Originally Piper and Pheobe but I refused.  I only think of Friends.

Piper is a name I might like if not for negative associations. I like Willow a lot though, and I kind of like Phoebe.

piper is ok. its one of those guilty pleasures i might use on a cat or something someday.

i dont like willow at all. i think its hokey and dumb. on a person, i mean. i think on a dwarf hamster its fine. :)

i am not a fan of phoebe either. ive just never liked the sound of it.

Haha, those really are Sarah Palin names! I wouldn't have even noticed. They are cute and... appropriate for hamsters, though.

Some friends of mine had two dwarf hamsters named Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin, the jerk of the two, had passed on before I met the friends, so I had only known Hobbes, and had assumed he was actually named for the writer, not the comic book tiger. I like to believe that they were still named with that intention.

Trivia: It is believed that Patterson named Calvin and Hobbes as kind of a joke, as Calvin's philosophy is like that of Thomas Hobbes, and Hobbes thinks more like John Calvin.
