I just joined the community. I'm having a baby girl in March, and my husband and I are having a tough time agreeing on a name! So far, I am thinking of:

Meadow Lorraine

What do you guys think? We're keeping the name private from friends/family until she's born, and I want to bounce it off some people!

I agree with everyone else on using Lorraine.

Meadow just doesn't do it for me though. It sounds too hippy-ish to me. I've definitely heard worse though=)

Good job on not telling the parents. We aren't either and I'm thinking it's a good idea.

Well, I am a bit "hippy-ish", so I think that's why Meadow has some appeal to me as a name. ;)

THe not telling parents is driving my in-laws crazy, but we don't care. In case we change the name at the last minute, we don't want built up opinions weighing us down. And also, I wanted to wait to find the gender but we found out anyway to appease husband and his parents. This is my payback. ;)
