Ee-LIE-as.

I like it, but I don't think I'd personally use it.

I like it. But I like Silas better. I'd say it el-eye-as.

ee-lye-us. I like it, but I doubt I'd ever use it. It reminds me of Silas and has a nice sound. Like it much better than the ever popular Elijah. ;)

I pronounce it e-LIE-us. I don't like it for personal reasons but it's not a bad name.

My nephew's middle name is Elias. It is pronounced E-lie-us. I'm not good at typing out pronunciations so hopefully that makes sense haha.

el-EYE-as.

It's a grocery store here, so that's what I immediately think of.

I knew an Elias in H.S. and he pronounced his name like:

ee-lie-us

so by habit, that's how I'd pronounce it.

At first glance, I always say El-ee-as. Then I'm like, oh right, probably ee-lie-as. I don't like it at all, either way.

I love it but only in the Finnish way of pronouncing it which is something like el-EE-ahs. It's probably my top Finnish boys names with Emil.
