how popular would you say Zachary and Leah are?

Zachary John or Zachary Jonathan?
Leah Madeleine or Leah Madeline?

Or any other suggestions?

Not sure how popular it is now, but when my brother Zachary was born 14 years ago it was incredibly popular.

Leah Madeline.

Zachary John.

Also, I love the name Leah. Love love it. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend is named Leah, and he is 100% against it. :(

Zachary Jonathan and Leah Madeline.

Both names are so-so in popularity. I think they're classic names that will remain "popular" forever.

Zachary is my number one boy name, but I always seem to pair it with James. I like Zachary John better of those two, however.

I think Leah is very pretty, but that and Madeline/Madeleine are nms. I prefer Leah Madeleine (as long as its pronounce Mad-uh-lane or Mad-uh-leen and not Mad-uh-lyn)

Popular yes, common not too much.
I love both!

My preferences:
Zachary Jonathan, because it's a full name.
Leah Madelein, as to avoid confusions with Madeline being pronounced both Mad-eh-lin and Mad-eh-line.

Zachary Jonathan

Leah Madeline

I think that Zachary and Leah are fairly popular, but not so much that you couldn't get away with using them--I think they are classic names that people will always be able to use. There is always Zachariah if you want an alternative for Zachary.

I like Zachary John and Leah Madeline.

I'm not familiar with the Madeleine spelling... It looks like there's an extra E thrown in to be creative or something...

Leah is my sister's name (Leah Catherine, which got a lot of love when I did that "names in my family" thing), so I could never use it lol.

Zachary used to be my top boy's name... then I grew up and got over Hanson, lol. j/k. I still like it, but I don't love it.

And, yeah, like others have said both names are pretty timeless, so no need to worry about being "trendy."

And echoing - Zachary Johnathan and Leah Madeline.

Next question: Is Leah gonna be pronounced lee-uh or lay-uh?

I love Leah... but it's my daughter's name so I guess I'm biased. ;)

I dont know about the popularity of either of them, as I live in New Zealand.

When my brother was born it was relatively unknown here. However within the last 16 years i've heard of more boys named Zachary.

My brother's name is Zachary John, so I like that.

I'm Leah Jennifer.

And while I was in school, our three classes (that is, my class year and the ones directly senior and junior my own class, totalling some over 1200 people) only had one other Leah total. I graduated in 2006. So for me, it never was popular, but it seems to be moreso with children in the 5-6 age range.

I'd say that Zachary is extremely popular. Leah, not so much.

Zachary John & Leah Madeline. I don't like the extraneous E in Madeleine. I keep thinking it should be pronounced Ma-de-LEEN, when it isn't.

Madeleine is actually quite legit French name, it's the name of Princess Madeleine of Sweden for example :>)
