me too! I use to love the name Natalia. I knew a Natalia way back in the day and she was a total jerk. I've been trying to like it but I just can't cuz of her. I hate when people ruin names for you.

Beautiful name. Great for a baby, a 5 year old, a teenager, an adult, and for the elderly. Plus, the nickname Lily is a great name too =)

My husband and I are going to try again for another baby probably in january...I know....long way away..but I just love this names. Definetly on my top5...and Lily will be the nickname.

I posted a comment about how my 6 year old niece is named Liliana and honestly no one has ever called her Lili. Most people do just call her Liliana, but when they shorten it, they call her Lil. Sounds kinda odd at first, but its natural to shorten names as much as possible I think, lol. Even her friends at school will call her Lil.

I've been studying the Italian director Liliana Cavani [she did 'Ripley's game' amongst other things] in college, so have grown to appreciate the name. It's very elegant, classic and will suit all ages.

Pretty, but a mouthful. Lilie/Lily would be a nice nickname.

oh yeah. we will definetly be using Lily as a nickname. And when she get's older she can choose to either stay with Lily or Liliana.
