I've commented a lot recently, so I figured I should introduce myself. My name is Katie Rose (I hate how common both Katie and Rose are, but I love the way it sounds :)) and I'm 16, so obviously not going to be pregnant any time soon. I am, however, obsessed with names.


I've always loved names that relate to music. I know that most people don't like Cadence, but it's one of my favorites. I also love Kyrie, Melody, Jazz (as a nickname/middle name, although I really hate Jasmine), and Harmony There are also some that I love but would never use: Calliope (which is why I love Callie) and Madrigal.

One of my friends is named Amethy, which I love. It was a combo of her grandmother's names...Amelia and Bethany.

I also love Alexandria, Rachael, Cassidy, and Shae.

These aren't all the guys names that I like, but they're the ones I liked from that name quiz a few weeks ago:

...do we see a pattern? I ♥ guys names that start with brad- or bran-. Braydon/Braden/Braedon is my favorite name ever. I also really like Oliver. Aaron is one of my favorite names, but I hate the way it looks.

As for the musical names - I love them too! Kyrie, what a fun piece in choir. Madrigal - never thought of it as a name, but I kind of like it. Ah, I miss our madrigals!

What about Aria? i think that's a beautiful musical name.
I think Cadence is a pretty, but i'd only use it as a middle name.

Melody and Callie are really pretty. I also think that Amethy is beautiful too. Recently I have also taken a liking to Cassidy.

I LOVE Elliot.

By the way, I am also one of the young and not planning babies yet but obsessed with names members of this community! I'm 17 and it's good to know I'm not the only one!

Don't know why...but everywhere I look, the name Elliot just seems to stand out...I thought at first that it was a nerdy kinda name, but I really love it!
