Alright, we have some names picked out, but we still need more ideas.
The last name is Slay, which I'm finding difficult to work with haha

Our favorite for a boy is:
John Connor Slay (He'll go by Connor)

And for a girl I think Shelby Slay sounds nice... but I need a middle name!

Any suggestions for first and middle names for boys or girls would be helpful! Thanks!

Any particular reason for using Connor as a middle name but still calling him that? If it's a family tradition or John is after a still-living family member, I totally understand, but if it's just because and for no particular reason, I'd go with Connor John to avoid confusion.

I like Shelby, but the alliteration is a little much. Definitely go with something that doesn't have an S in it. Shelby Katherine Slay?

Yay! Hahaha. I do, too. I think it's really pretty. The only concern I'd have is that when you say Shelby Slay together, it's hard to not pronounced the S in Slay as SH.

I think Shelby would be okay as a middle name -- how often would you be saying them together?

Katherine Shelby Slay
Catherine Shelby Slay

I like Kate/Cate as a nickname.

Shelby Slay = initials "SS" = not so much for me. I would avoid things that start with S, boy or girl, for that reason. Although I do like the name Shelby.

Shelby Slay sounds like a comic character. I think it'd be easier if the boy was just Connor John, because that would take some of the automatic Terminator reference away.

Shelby Cate
Shelby Violet
Shelby Lane
Shelby Renee

Shelby Slay makes me really really lisp, even though I don't have one. I say Shelby Shlay. However, with a nice middle name, I think I could overlook that.

Shelby Katherine Slay really stands out to me.

I like the name Shelby on it's own, but with your last name, it makes me want to say "Shall we say...."

What about Kelby instead? It's sort of got the same sound.

As for a middle name suggestions:
Claire
Faith
Hope
Jane
Pearl
Quinn
