Names in the paper

Every weekend our paper prints photos of local events. Kind of a who's who of the attendees. Sometimes local celebrities and socialites are in the pics, but more often it's people I have not heard of before. I didn't include the more common names. Just the ones that stood out to me for one reason or another. I noted male or female in some instances. All of these people are adults. The youngest might be mid-twenties.

Aphrodite (late 20s woman, very beautiful maybe Greek, Persian, or Indian. She can pull off the name!)

Maggi looks like Magi, as in wise men, to me. Could be the season I suppose. But Maggie is better.

Jules, if short for a Juli-name, is fine. Alone it's odd.
January is one of my favorite month names, although I would never use it.
Doss is v. European
Courtney-traditionally it was a man's name. I work with an older Meredith.
Aphrodite-wow. Not for me.
Kyle-Classic
Madelaine-if it's prn -lane, it's just ok.

Madelaine is probably my # 2 girl's name. Love! I'm surprised to see it posted, I've only ever seen it in baby name books.

January-- awesome concept, I'd hate to be stuck with it myself but the right personality could carry it off
