Question 1: WDYT of the name Isaac?
Question 2: Does Isaac James or James Isaac sound better?

EDIT: Last name would be a very long German last name with 4 syllables starting with B and ending with R.

1. It's alright... not my taste, really.
2. It depends on the last name.

I looked at your edit and created a fictitious German sounding name meeting those criteria. Isaac James sounds much better. I think James Isaac would sound better with a shorter last name.

I plan on using the name Isaac when the time comes.

And yeah, I agree that it depends on the last name.

Isaac James. I'm not a fan of Isaac, but it's not terrible.

Normally I'd say Isaac James sounds better, but I think James Isaac would have a nicer flow with the last name you hinted at. I like both names very much though!

I like Isaac!

And I agree with [livejournal.com profile] cremepuff about James Isaac as a better choice with your last name.

Isaac James flows best :)
I think it's fine with a German last name (I'm picturing Isaac Birkenstock just to get an idea :P )

I prefer Isaac James especially if you plan to call him Isaac. Lol of course this is coming from someone who goes by their middle name and hates having to clarify it with people.

I adore Isaac. I like it as a first or a middle, but I think I like it as a first better.

I like Isaac, but... what about Dietrich?

random note, my son Dietrich was Isaac for the first few months of my pregnancy, before we decided it was too common and went with something we wouldn't hear so much elsewhere.

Isaac is one of my top names.

James is another favorite of mine, so that's a tough call, but I prefer Isaac James.

I hate how Isaac is all trendy now.
Every male on my dad's side is named Isaac, and people were always like o_0

i think isaac james sounds better, but with that type of last name, i think a simpler first name would be best, so my vote would go for james isaac.
