Dec. 2nd, 2008 08:00 pmA girl I used to work with is pregnant with her first baby, a girl, due on December 20th. She's planning on naming her Noella Bliss. I think I could handle Noelle/Noella Joy, but.....Bliss is a little much for me.

Date: 2008-12-03 01:09 pm (UTC)I know it's too stripperish for some, but I just like both the sound and meaning
Noella, I'm not too fond of. I prefer Noelle.
And also, I was born on Dec 20th, and it's bad as it is that parents and friends take advantage of your birthday being close to Xmas and give you only one global present.. and that's without your name underlining costantly how you were born close to Xmas !!! It would have been ok for a middle name, but as a first name, that's a little too much.

Date: 2008-12-05 03:49 am (UTC)I get that it's a legitimate name, sort of - there was a girl I went to school with named Lacey, but I just keep thinking of tablecloths and doilies every time I think of my friend's daughter...
