I'm bored, so I'll proceed to bore you, posting the whole known genealogy of the Hanson family :D ...remember MMMBop? That's right!

I don't mind going by middle names but it just seems ridiculous that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is doing it. Well, not all of them but most of them. I mean, seriously. I get it in the Clarke instances but the rest of them are sort of ridiculous. Glad to see Zac didn't go the Clarke route with his son.

I don't like how a lot of them go by their middle name. I don't understand why you would name a kid "FirstName MiddleName" if you're just going to call him "MiddleName" all the time. If it's tradition, that's one thing, but it can't be tradition for all of them...

i understand doing that for his first son, because it seems like a first son tradition... only not really, but the second one doesn't make sense! plus, james is a much better name than monroe.

I actually forgot to include "Clarke" as a name I like, especially with Ike and his first son. Plus I get that tradition; it's cool.

I'm a fan of going by the middle name depending on the middle name. I think the girls go by their first, and the guys go by the middle.

LOL not making sense seems to be something they're proud of typically, ESPECIALLY Zac...but John Ira Shepard really through me off. I mean I don't know if there's friends or family that they were named after or what but it's just an ick name to me.

I JUST saw Hanson in concert a few weeks ago.

I always want to know why they all go by their middle names, but nevertheless, they have some nice names in the family. I like:

My father goes by his middle name but it was not intentional when he was born. He was names Michael Grant with the intention of being called Michael but then a family member started to call him Mikey or Mickey (can't remember) and my Nanna hated it so she started to call him Grant.

Being called his middle name has been the bain of his existence. It's very difficult when it comes to official things, some times he's Grant other times he's Michael. It doesn't help that our last name is always mispronounced as well.

I'm not sure why you'd want to set your child up for this kind of thing.

When I was hugely into Hanson I wanted to marry a guy who's last name was Taylor and name my first son Zachary Isaac. The fact his initials were gonna be ZIT never crossed my mind.

I used to think the Hanson brothers had such cutesy lame taste in kids names but as i get older i've gorwn to really like all their kids names. Especially Everett, River, and Penny
